On this day in1991, the Nuclear submarine HMS CHURCHILL is decommissioned and laid up in Rosyth Royal Dockyard awaiting disposal.She remains there to this day. All 19 of the RoyalNavy decommissioned nuclear submarines are still awaiting disposal in Rosyth or HMNBDevonport.
