OnThisDay 1918 the RoyalNavy Grand Fleet deployed in full fighting array for the last time in wartime to counter a German sortie in the North Sea. Admiral Beatty sailed with 193 ships including: 31 battleships, 4 battle cruisers, 24 light cruisers & 85 destroyers.
