HMS Ambuscade, returning to Devonport 24th July 1982, was one of 8 Type 21 frigates built for the RN in the 1970s. They were popular with crews but not the most effective fighting ships. She survived service during the Falklands War (Her sisters HMS Ardent and Antelope were sunk).
