A generous deal to provide a lift ship for the voyage has been offered. Expect her to come home around April/May 2024.

Royal Navy T-class submarine HMS Thorough, built in 1942, claims to be the 1st sub to complete a globe circumnavigation, not to confuse with USS Triton that was the 1st submerged circumnavigation in 1960.
