Bristol was visited by the Fifth Destroyer Flotilla in July 1932. Five ships arrived – HMS Whirlwind, HMS Warwick and HMS Velox tied up at St Augustine’s Bridge. The ship on the right is D-25, HMS Warwick, which would be sunk with the loss of half her crew by a U-Boat in 1944.
