Big guns in town! Christmas has arrived.
The worlds largest container ship arrived in the Port of Felixstowe on Sunday.
The Ever Ace measures a huge 400m in length 61.5 in width. Has a capacity of 23,992 standard-sized containers.

On completion of Operational Sea Training with the RN FOST (Flag Officer Sea Traing), FGS Magdeburg arrived in London, alongside HMS Belfast.

On This Day in 1918, the newly commissioned HMS GLATTON suffered a fire in a magazine whilst in Dover. Due to the proximity of an ammunition ship she was torpedoed by Vice Admiral Keyes to prevent a larger disaster. She was moved later and now rests under the current ferry terminal. Loss of 98 men.
