Veterans of the Pacific theater fill the hangar deck of USS Enterprise (CV-6) on their return home, during a voyage for Operation Magic Carpet, during this trip the Enterprise carried some 1,141 servicemen due for discharge, including hospital patients and POWs. September 1945.
