On this day 60 years ago in 1962, the last Royal Navy warship to be built at Chatham Dockyard, HMS Ocelot was launched. Although the last warship ever to be built there was HMCS OKANAGAN in 1966 for the Royal Canadian Navy, also an Oberon sub. HMS Ocelot is now preserved at Chatham as a museum.
