On this day in 1984, the Leander Class Frigate HMS Jupiter collided with London Bridge after declining to use tugs on leaving the pool of London. HMS Jupiter, who was converted to an Exocet & Sea Wolf Leander was one of the ships used in the 70s fictional drama, Warship, playing HMS HERO.
