A decommissioned American frigate (ex USS Boone) has arrived in Scotland and will soon be destroyed as a target as part of an exercise involving American and British warships. The U.S. frigate will be destroyed by American, British and allied warships as a target. The overall 'SINKEX' will be run by the Americans as the main aim of the exercise will be to test a new satellite.
