The Cagni or Ammiraglio Cagni class was a class of submarines built for Italy's Regia Marina during World War II. The picture gives a good impression of the sheer size of the "Ammiragli" class of oceanic submarines, compared to another boat meant for Mediterranean deployment. On the right, the submarine Ammiraglio Millo, while the one in the left is a unit of the 600 class. Both submarines are undergoing completion works in the shipyard of Monfalcone.
