The first 127mm replacement for the ex-Canadian DDH 280 mounts is being fitted to HNLMS Evertsen and should be operational in 2024 on completion of her current refit.

On this day in 1922, HMS Victory was moved into No 2 Dock in Portsmouth dockyard, to be preserved for the nation. HMS Victory is the oldest commissioned warship in the world and is located in the oldest Dry Dock still in use in the world which was commissioned by King Henry VII in 1495.
