American supercarrier back at sea after repairs. The Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman has resumed operations in the U.S. Sixth Fleet area of operations after departing Souda Bay, Greece, on February 23.

Today in 1999, HMS Bangor was commissioned. She was the last RN Ship to be accepted in the 20th Century. Of the 12 RN Sandown Class Minehunters built only BANGOR remains in service as mine-hunting moves towards autonomous vessels from mother ships.
The Turkish Navy's TCG Alemdar submarine rescue mother ship on a visit to Plymouth leaving the Sound tonight. The vessel is designed to perform subsea and surface search and rescue missions under various sea conditions.
