During patrols in the Red Sea today Destroyer USS Carney shot down 3 land attack missiles (possibly aimed at Israel) and several drones that were launched by Iran-backed Houthi forces in Yemen.

On this day in 1922, HMS Victory was moved into No 2 Dock in Portsmouth dockyard, to be preserved for the nation. HMS Victory is the oldest commissioned warship in the world and is located in the oldest Dry Dock still in use in the world which was commissioned by King Henry VII in 1495.
Naval vessels from various countries, docked at Portsmouth Naval Base. Taking part in the International Fleet Review which was part of the Trafalgar 200 celebrations. 2005.
