HMS Westminster is on the schedule for moving berths at Devonport Dockyard Thursday. Whether or not she will ever be fit to return to service is as yet unclear.

On This Day in 1918, the newly commissioned HMS GLATTON suffered a fire in a magazine whilst in Dover. Due to the proximity of an ammunition ship she was torpedoed by Vice Admiral Keyes to prevent a larger disaster. She was moved later and now rests under the current ferry terminal. Loss of 98 men.
