On this day in 1937, the Tribal Class Destroyer, HMS Nubian was launched in Southampton. With HMS Jervis she earned the destroyer battle honour record in WW2, gaining 13 from Norway to Burma. She was scrapped in 1949 meaning she gained more than a battle honour a year.
