British Defence Singapore Support Unit at BDSSU UK Task Groups are more than just warships. BDSSU is providing marine aviation fuel to enable 845 Naval Air Squadron embarked in RFA ARGUS and as part of LRG S.

On This Day in 1918, the newly commissioned HMS GLATTON suffered a fire in a magazine whilst in Dover. Due to the proximity of an ammunition ship she was torpedoed by Vice Admiral Keyes to prevent a larger disaster. She was moved later and now rests under the current ferry terminal. Loss of 98 men.
