The ship's company have now moved back on board HMS Dragon following the completion of her Power Improvement Project (PIP) - engine upgrade by BAES Maritime.

05 March 1999: at sea - USS Enterprise (CVN 65) (right) and USS Detroit (AOE 4) (center) conduct a replenishment-at-sea, as Nicholas (top left) begins her approach. Enterprise Battle Group is operating in the central Mediterranean Sea.

On This Day in 1918, the newly commissioned HMS GLATTON suffered a fire in a magazine whilst in Dover. Due to the proximity of an ammunition ship she was torpedoed by Vice Admiral Keyes to prevent a larger disaster. She was moved later and now rests under the current ferry terminal. Loss of 98 men.
