USS Nimitz (CVN-68) departing Bremerton, WA, was passing the Washington State Ferry M/V Walla Walla (Super Jumbo Ferry). Not so "Super Jumbo" next to the massive Navy "Super Carrier"!

On completion of Operational Sea Training with the RN FOST (Flag Officer Sea Traing), FGS Magdeburg arrived in London, alongside HMS Belfast.

Naval vessels from various countries, docked at Portsmouth Naval Base. Taking part in the International Fleet Review which was part of the Trafalgar 200 celebrations. 2005.
On This Day in 1918, the newly commissioned HMS GLATTON suffered a fire in a magazine whilst in Dover. Due to the proximity of an ammunition ship she was torpedoed by Vice Admiral Keyes to prevent a larger disaster. She was moved later and now rests under the current ferry terminal. Loss of 98 men.
