1. Ex-USS Tripoli (LPH-10) in the Panama Canal coming out of Gaillard Cut and heading into Gatun Lake near the town of Gamboa, 26, March 2015. Ex-Tripoli was under dead tow by Narragansett. The Panama Canal tug acts as a rudder during transit. 2. On July 2018, the USS Tripoli was towed to Brownsville, Texas, where she will be dismantled and recycled.
