The USS Gravely, an Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer most recently deployed to the Middle East, departed Virginia on Saturday on its new mission to operate in U.S. and international waters, according to the Pentagon.

Royal Navy mine countermeasures vessel HMS Cattistock (M31), passing under the Skye road bridge, Scotland.
ITS Giovanni Delle Bande Nere arrived in Faslane and came alongside at Garelochhead yesterday. Classed as an "Multipurpose Offshore Patrol Vessel" by the Italian Navy, she is effectively a frigate/destroyer and carries up to 16 Aster 30 Block 1NT missiles which may be test-fired during exercise FormidableShield.

Fin removed from ex-HMS Swiftsure in Rosyth. She is on course to be fully dismantled by end of 2026, the first nuclear submarine to be disposed of by the UK.Over 500 tonnes of conventional waste have already been removed and 90% of her total weight will be recycled. High-quality steel already recovered from decommissioned boats is being repurposed into components for future submarines.
