Decorated to replicate battleship Anson, British target ship Centurion is ready to depart Loch Long for Canada. This will be a decoy mission with Gibraltar as the actual destination.

On This Day in 1918, the newly commissioned HMS GLATTON suffered a fire in a magazine whilst in Dover. Due to the proximity of an ammunition ship she was torpedoed by Vice Admiral Keyes to prevent a larger disaster. She was moved later and now rests under the current ferry terminal. Loss of 98 men.
