By day, by night... By sea, by air... Two RFA Headquarters ships, RFA Lyme Bay and RFA Argus have been the crucial launch pad for Commando operations during a major exercise in Australia's Northern Territory.

On This Day in 1918, the newly commissioned HMS GLATTON suffered a fire in a magazine whilst in Dover. Due to the proximity of an ammunition ship she was torpedoed by Vice Admiral Keyes to prevent a larger disaster. She was moved later and now rests under the current ferry terminal. Loss of 98 men.
